These may include hardware such as machines, equipment or software; technical expertise in areas such as design, analysis or testing; infrastructure such as laboratories or workshops; funds for purchasing equipment or paying staff salaries; and other resources like energy sources or raw materials needed for the project. In essence, engineering resources encompass all that is necessary to carry out an engineering task from conceptualization through development, testing, production and maintenance.
